What’s in a name?
The TinkerNaut is the playful conjunction of tinkering - the informal dabbling in making or repair; and -naut - as in a voyager for scientific investigation. It’s often through a tinkering process that people learn to solve problems in novel and creative ways. The suffix ‘-naut’ referring to voyagers is how we see ourselves - pushing boundaries and letting our customers benefit from opportunities outside the established norms.
We are willing to entertain unorthodox ideas that show potential. We aren’t willing to settle for rubber-stamp solutions from yesteryear with a one-size-fits all billing approach - that would be akin to a ‘voyager’ who’s unwilling to take his/her boat out of the dock. What we at TinkerNaut really get a kick out of is finding that sweet-spot between a right-size technical solution with maximised bang-for-buck.
